Jordan Grace Hayden #2

Kristi and I wanted to share some pictures we received yesterday from a chaplain at Kosairs.  The chaplain came to the visitation to deliver a CD of pictures of Jordan’s last hour as well as some hand molds made of us holding hands with Jordan and Riley. Kristi and I also wanted to thank everyone for their support and prayers.  This has been a difficult road but we have not made it alone.  We have been blessed to have a wonderful network of friends and family.  We would not have had 114 days with Jordan if it were not for the staff at Kosairs.  Many of them loved Jordan as much as any member of her own family.  They truly became family to us.

Kristi and I also want to express our appreciation to everyone who attended the visitation and funeral.  It was a celebration of her life and the past few days will never be forgotten.  The funeral was finished with people releasing balloons and that moment was led by Riley releasing a purple balloon and shouting JORDAN GRACE.  Again, thank you for being apart of our lives and loving us during this time.

  1. Neil, Kristi and Riley, I am Chris and Michael’s aunt and I know the Sweeney family well. We have followed your lives with your precious Riley and now with Jordan. You have truly been a minister of God’s work in so many lives that you have touched because of Jordan’s short but powerful life. You unselfish love, strength, enormous faith has demonstrated to all of us the wonder of how much God loves us. You always showed the greatest of love to your family! I pray that as you face the days ahead you will continue to feel the strength of our Lord Jesus, the support of your friends, family, and new acquaintances that you have made. We will continue to pray for you all! Never in a lifetime will one understand all of God’s plan but we do know He has a plan and that He will use every circumstance to build our faith in Him. It will certainly be a day of rejoicing when we are all gathered in heaven face to face, eye to eye with our loved ones, and God himself!!! What a day of rejoicing that will be!!! God bless you!!!!

  2. I am overwhelmed by the FAITH & GRACE that you & Kristi have had through this whole journey. My life has been forever changed by Jordan & her family. She is forever going to be our angel.
